Burns Chief Medical Officer for Scotland visited the Centre this month. He commended the work that we do and the
value that is brought to the community on such a small budget.
Eye have visited the Centre to film a number of comments by Centre users on
globalisation and poverty. They have
also filmed extensively in and around the town of Clydebank for the project, which
is funded by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.
‘Tae Sail on Them is No Their Fate’ was screened at Clydebank Town Hall, the
Document Film Festival in Glasgow and the Scottish Parliament. This was a short film made by Centre users,
about the history of Clydebank and its impact on poverty in the area.
